DataBridgeDeployed solution for managing industrial-strength market data  - NOW SUPPORTING BLOOMBERG's BPIPE

DataBridge is an off-the-shelf software package

that facilitates bulk transfer of real-time financial

information in the form of data messages from

major financial information vendors like Reuters

and Bloomberg. For example DataBridge accepts

from any Reuters Market Data System (RMDS)

source or directly from Bloomberg Bpod and

allows  the operator or third- party application to

manipulate and create data messages. It  then

transmits the messages either in real-time, delayed,

scheduled or snapshot mode, to an output destination.

The output destination could be  serial  data

stream, ASCII file, XML, HTML, TCP/IP, or

customised output solutions, for example IBM

DataQueue, MQ, ODBC, Oracle, SQL databases or

    Host  Integration Server/VSAM.

DataBridge, a 32 bit software package designed

for Windows XP or Server 2008 , is the result of

over 15 man years of development by Exsys in

    co-operation with Reuters and Bloomberg.

Network based and  fully compliant with the latest

ThomsonReuters APIs and platforms - using

    P2PS or RTIC  or Bloomberg's Bpipe/Bpod

    service.

It provides highly resilient processing of

real-time data from data vendors to a customer’s

dealing room or backoffice system. It specifically

addresses the limitations of older methods of

data transfer like serial datafeeds or DDE (Excel)

and is designed to handle thousands of real-time

    instruments simultaneously especially where low

    latency is required.
